Cate began her hair career in 1980 working in a high end salon in the Chicago suburbs.  Her experiences took her to an education role, teaching the Masters Program at the Aveda Institute St. Petersburg, after recently spending over two years as a New Team manager, educator and senior stylist at J. Con, Cate is excited to bring her passion and enthusiasm to Roots Salon! 

She specializes In mens cuts (20's to 40's styles to modern professional), short textured styles, medium lengths, layered and livable-easy maintenance hair cuts.
